PURPOSE
To apply creative solutions to community problems by providing resources to startup and existing ministries. The Trumpeter Foundation's Mission is to serve by fulfilling this goal with passion and dedication.
VALUES
The Trumpeter Foundation is motivated by the vision of a Servant Christ, by the service He commissioned, and by His compassion for those who are in need. Values shaped it's founding. Values drive it forward.
SERVICES
The Trumpeter Foundation’s interest lies in enabling others to serve, not to become a large organization or to engage in local ministry . We nurture visionary hopes, but insist they be translated into results-orientated actions.
We function in four areas: Model Projects; Organizational Development, Individual Services and a Teaching and Training Center. Our services include: Creating; nurturing, and giving independence to organizations that are models of its mission.
We co-sponsor with local groups and ministries, programs moving from vision to implementation, creating either a new program within an existing organization or a new organization. The Trumpeter Foundation works with organizations to implement their vision. It focuses on evaluation, development and funding. An organization may request our help in evaluation, goal setting, program development, staff recruitment, training, board formation or revenue generation.
We assist individuals in leadership development. Both seasoned and developing leaders may request career counsel or other assistance. Often individuals have an idea for a new ministry and ask The Trumpeter Foundation to do reality testing or defining.
The Foundation recognizes the assistance may costs more than many clients can afford. Therefore, an hourly fee for executive and support staff time is supplemented by friends of the Foundation committed to spanning the gulf between needs and resources.
All clients must pay some portion of the cost. Often the Foundation is able to assist them in identifying the resources to fund the service. Our goal is to have one half of the cost of providing these services paid by donors. These bridge builders are vital to the Foundation’s existence.
HISTORY
As a not-for-profit corporation, The Trumpeter Foundation is young. We are best described as a Ministry for Ministries serving as a true bridge builder and providing a unique forum for cross-networking among ministries.
The Trumpeter Foundation hopes to help ministries focus on their vision. It hopes to be of assistance in procuring the necessary advice, equipment and training to bring their vision to reality. The Trumpeter Foundation is the non-profit arm of The Trumpeter Magazine online. Because of this relationship, it also plans to serve as a clearinghouse of information for the Christian community.
